Cut a PVC foam board and look at the edge.

The internal cells tell part of the story.

During foaming, the cellular structure develops inside the sheet. If that structure is uneven, density and processing performance may vary too.

The surface can look good. The inside matters too.

Cooling and Sizing: Why Flatness Doesn't Happen by Accident

After foaming comes cooling and sizing.

The board is still responding to temperature. Controlled cooling helps maintain dimensions, thickness and flatness.

Useful information. But not enough.

What process?

What density?

What tolerance?

How hard is the surface?

Will it be printed, laminated, drilled or CNC cut?

And how does the factory inspect each batch?

These details matter when buying wholesale PVC board, particularly for repeat orders. A slightly cheaper sheet isn't much of a saving if the next container behaves differently from the first.

Samples help too.

Test them with your own machines and your own process. Cutting, printing, drilling, laminating. Real use tells you more than a specification sheet.
